A place where you naturally think of spending a great holiday.

Walking along the street that leads to the first houses you think: “where will I sleep tonight?” Let’s wander around a bit with the smartphone…

“Mmm… maybe it’s better to see for yourself… so, I’d like a three-star hotel. I’m on vacation but we’re still trying to keep expenses down…”

A hotel in the centre wouldn’t be bad, maybe with a covered garage: for the safety of my car, I would happily spend a little bit more. I’d like them to smile at me when I come in and especially when I’m eating at the restaurant. Good food is essential and although I have a good contact for a mountain refuge I would like to try some typical dishes. The restaurateurs of Fata Moena have been able to establish themselves at Italian and European level… so if it is true that in Trentino you always eat well, here it’ s definitely better!

Look at this! To the right! 30 metres before the square: Hotel Moena, three stars, garage ramp, a place to unload luggage.

It is also very sunnyA relaxing terrace with comfortable armchairs. I can already taste a nice cold beer and for my wife a lovely herbal tea. The guests are all smiling.

The hotel looks a bit vintage, I’d say a little modern, but with its own personality.

I’m going in. It’s clean and the atmosphere reminds us of a stylish economic boom.

The staff are smiling and I also find out that they make great ice cream cups; we’ll see if they’re good too.

Near the dining room, there is a kids’ corner. Maybe it’s not a Family Hotel, but they certainly know that children need to move about, and it’ll be a great family holiday. The little one’s already playing and it’s going to be hard to catch him. The big one is pulling my hand and has already discovered that in the Avisio river some championship trout are leaping.

I ask, “Do you have a vacant room for four?” they say yes and take me to see it. Nice corridor, the style is very nautical, the room is well laid out with a small entrance where there is a bed for the kids. The furniture is in cherry wood. Spacious bathroom for a three-star.

“Can I ask you for an offer? 4 nights half-board? In fact, tell me how much it is for full board…”

It’s not exactly a last-minute deal, but it still doesn’t exceed my budget… and then we’re so central! Moena is always Moena. A little breath of calm. Definitely a great choice, this holiday in Trentino. And Val di Fassa… Amazing!
